COVID 19 - WARNING
MasterTech Expo strive to provide a safe experience at the event. To assist with that, please follow all posted instructions while visiting the event venues, as well as attendee guidelines, found at (web address for privacy policy).
COVID-19 is a contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death, which may be reduced or eliminated with vaccinations and social distancing best practices. By visiting the MasterTech Expo event venue, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
COMPLIANCE & COOPERATION
In order to maintain a business atmosphere at MasterTech Expo, we ask your cooperation in complying with these policies as a condition of your attendance:
- When Event Management* scans your badge, your personal information is processed pursuant to Event Management's legitimate interest in tracking attendance, traffic flow, and providing a better event for attendees. By allowing exhibitors to scan your badge, registration information you provided to event Management during the registration process is shared with them. Exhibitors may then contact you regarding their goods or services. Please review their privacy policies for additional information. If you do not want to share your information, do not permit the exhibitor to scan your badge. If you do not want to receive communications from a vendor, you must contact that exhibitor directly.

- In the interest of maintaining a professional atmosphere, attendees must wear appropriate apparel at all times. Business or semi-business attire is suggested. Logos and taglines on apparel must be in good taste. Event Management reserves the right to make determinations on appropriate apparel.
- Badges are the property of MasterTech Expo event and must be surrendered upon request. Badges must be worn in plain view at all times.
- Random distribution of promotional material or business cards or selling of product of any type is not allowed.
- Non-Exhibiting Companies (NECs) which are companies qualified to exhibit, but not currently exhibiting in this year's events) attend for the sole purpose of viewing the MasterTech Expo event for future exhibiting opportunities. There is a limit of two (2) registrants per company for no more than two (2) years.
- NECs (Companies qualified to exhibit, but not currently exhibiting in this year's events) are not permitted to have merchandise, samples or catalogs onsite.
- Event rooms, hospitality suites, special presentations or sponsorship of any activity cannot be hosted by NECs anywhere in the Phoenix, Arizona area during MasterTech Expo event or risk being banned from any future MasterTech Expo events.
- Anyone who is observed approaching attendees for the purposes of promoting their products/services in the aisles or in an exhibitor's booth not their own will be removed.
- Smoking is prohibited in the Mesa Convention Center.
- No one under the age of 16 years, including infants, will be allowed on to the exhibit floors. Event Management does not provide any child-care or babysitting services on-site. Use of a school ID is not acceptable to prove age unless it provides a date of birth.
- Drones/unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), hoverboards, and personal mobility devices--such as Segways, skateboards, skates and scooters (motorized or foot-powered) are NOT allowed at MasterTech Expo Event. No Exceptions. This includes all non-ADA approved mobility devices. FAA regulations require UAVs/Drones to be flown at least10 miles from any active airport. The Mesa Convention Center is less than 10 miles from Falcon Field Airport and in the flight path of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Any of these items reported or found at the event will be confiscated until event ends on Wednesday, March 23, at 3:00pm (after the closing keynote and final lunch service). PLEASE leave these items at home!
- Fireworks, weapons, explosives, and firearms of all kinds are prohibited from the premises of MasterTech Expo event. This prohibition applies to interior and exterior premises, including parking areas, and also applies to all vehicles and displays whether the weapons are permanently or temporarily affixed. Any exceptions to this policy must be granted in writing by Event Management.
- In compliance with the ADA, service animals --as defined by the ADA--are permitted at the event. Other live animals, including comfort, emotional support or therapy animals, pets, and animals used for demonstrations of any kind are not allowed. Event Management reserves the right to prohibit service animals if they pose a threat or safety concern to anyone attending, exhibiting or working our Event. The handler/owner of the service animal is responsible for the care and supervision of his or her animal. If the animal is not under control or is disruptive or not housebroken, Event Management may require it to be removed from the Event premises.
CAMERA & VIDEO POLICY
Failure to conform to any of these regulations will result in removal
- MasterTech Expo event owners are authorized to make and may use, without limitation, notification or compensations, audio and/or visual recordings of activities at their trade events, as well as the names of the companies and participants of the MasterTech Expo event.
- Professional video crews must carry the official video pass at the MasterTech Expo event.
- At the MasterTech Expo event, photographs and personal videos are permitted with the exhibitor's permission only. Please see FAQs for more information.
PHOTO RELEASE
- In consideration of being allowed to participate in the MasterTech Expo event, the participant hereby grants MasterTech Expo and it assigns (1) full and unconditional permission to make still or motion pictures and any other type(s) of audio or visual recordings of participant's activities and participation in the MasterTech Expo event and at the site of the event before, during and after the event; and (2) the exclusive, worldwide and perpetual rights to use the same, together with the name, likeness and biography of participant and its employees and assigns, along with the names, likenesses and data of, or relating to, participant's products and display, for publicity, advertising, endorsements, promotion and any other kind or type of exhibition or exploitations, whether or not for profit, in print, audio, video and other communications media by reproduction and sale or other distribution by any and all means now known or hereafter developed.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All registrations are final. No credits or refunds shall be issued for the MasterTech Expo event. This includes cancellations, substitutions, or for any other reason, including without limitation, interruption, postponement, cancellation or relocation of the event due to any cause determined by the Event Management to be beyond Event Management's control.
For international attendees, failure to obtain a US Visa in advance of the event does not constitute a valid reason for a refund or credit.
